There is an offshute pond in the primary beaver pond that gives the best reflections, so I was exstatic to see that the pair of merganser ducks had now migrated to this pond. Of course, to access it I had to climb over fallen logs till I got to the big fallen tree which I then had to climb and balance on to get the photo. I love the surreal effect of the landscape reflection in the pool .
