This is Tornado, a wild horse from the Adobe Town herd in southern Wyoming. He is named for the tornado shaped blaze on his forehead. The Adobe Town herd is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Although they are definitely wild horses, they have become somewhat acclimated to humans because of the heavy gas field traffic. "Acclimated" means that you can view some of them from a hundred yards instead of a half a mile or more.
