Behind The Lens

Location

Las Vegas, Nevada. And Thank You for choosing My Photo.

Time

Mid Afternoon in November.

Lighting

The exposure was very standard, however the sky was very ordinary, so I cut out the sky and replaced it with the one You see here. I wanted the sky to match the unique POV this shot had,

Equipment

I use a Cannon 60D and a standard 18 x 55 lens.

Inspiration

Our trip Vegas was a first for Us and so I wanted to not only see the sites but to experiment a bit as well with POV , standing at the feet of this replica of the Statue of liberty was a great opportunity.

Editing

post was the replacement of the sky, used adjustment layers in Cs6 for the tones and saturation levels. I always shoot in ' RAW ' so there is a ton of info to work with.

In my camera bag

A snack, a few bucks, a clean rag, a plastic bag for the camera in-case of rain. and a cleaning solution or wipes for the lens.

Feedback

I always recommend for folks to try shooting things they normally do not photograph, this allows You to expand new ideas that You can take to Your area of interest,I prefer to photograph landscapes and anything outside in Nature.
