Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the comfort of my own home

Time

It must've been early afternoon

Lighting

Shadow can be hurtful and helpful, it's worth trying multiple lighting setups and choosing the one that works best

Equipment

50mm lens on a Nikon D3100

Inspiration

Admiration of my beloved pet, and the light that was being cast upon her

Editing

Small amounts of brightness and contrast adjustments

In my camera bag

I carry two lenses (18-270 3.5-5.6 and 50 1.4) and an external flash unit that I barely use

Feedback

Wait for your pet to be still (lying down is best), position yourself according to the light you want
