After a night of aurora the night before without any aurora forecast. The next night I received a storm level aurora alert notification from a aurora forecast website. So I quickly grab my gear and head out hoping for more great lights.
Most the the night was covered with clouds. So instead of hoping for more night glow of aurora. I started capture a time lapse sequence of the moon setting behind the mountain. And later on, the night skies did clear up reveal the dark starry skies and some aurora glow. But it didn't last long after the skies cleared up.
This is one of the frame from a time lapse sequence when the moon went behind the mountains.
