Behind The Lens

Location

The photograph was taken in Sedona, Arizona. I lived in Arizona for 25 years. Arizona was a great place to take pictures. It had from deserts, to mountains, and canyons.

Time

This is one of my favorite photos. I was spending the day in Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. The photo was taken at the end of the day at sunset.

Lighting

I didn't use anything for lighting.

Equipment

I used a nikon d70 with a 50mm lens. It was mounted on a tripod, because I had to take several shots.

Inspiration

The red rocks of Sedona are just a breath taking view.

Editing

I used a stitching program to stitch together 3 seperate photos. I also used an orange to clear gradient filter on the lens.

In my camera bag

I usually carry an assortment of different lenses, such as a wide angle lens, a standard lens, and a 400mm zoom lens. I have an assortment of different filters.

Feedback

I am just an amateur photographer that likes to take pictures for myself. All I can say is to just experiment and try different things. Try different settings, and lenses. Try different times of the day.
