Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Phoenix Zoo. I'm a self taught photographer.

Time

This was taken in the morning. Too hot to take photo's later in the day in Phoenix.

Lighting

Nothing special about the light, it was taken in full sun.

Equipment

This was a shot taken on an old film camera, Nikon fm.

Inspiration

The setting was perfect, it looked like a natural setting, and I like to make my photo's look like they were taken in the wild.

Editing

No photo editing was done to the picture, what you see is what you get.

In my camera bag

At that time I had and old film camera Nikon FM with a telephoto lens. Now I have a Nikon d7000 with lenses from wide angle all the way up to a 600 mm. All of my lenses are Nikon, except the 600mm.

Feedback

Just be willing to wait for good conditions to take your photo's, and dont be afraid to experiment.
