Behind The Lens

Location

This was on my 6 hour drive to my photography habit support job. Just sitting on the side of the highway.

Time

It was around 3 pm. I still had about 4 hours left to drive and this intrigued me to take a break.

Lighting

Nothing really special on the lighting, It was a beautiful day and the sun was just right.

Equipment

Canon 7D and a 24 - 70 EOS lens.

Inspiration

I love old buildings and tactile history. I come from a farming background as well, so old farmsteads always draw my eye.

Editing

I originally took this photo to give it a B&W or Sepia treatment. I just wasn't happy with it, so I went back to the raw file and started playing with de-saturating the colors one by one and tweaking other sliders as I went. This was the final result.

In my camera bag

Camera of course. 24 - 70; 50 mm prime; 70 - 200 mm; and my wide angle 11 - 24.

Feedback

Stop when something intrigues you. Get out, walk around, and take the picture.
