Sensational! I've never seen anything like it. Kermit. All the right stuff . . . focus, depth of field, color and design . . . great photo!

What a great shot. I thought I had a good frog with reflection, but this is pretty awesome.

Location
I took this photo at the Vancouver Aquarium.Time
This was an indoor photo, but for what it's worth I took it in the evening.Lighting
The lighting was supplied artificially from the frog habitat.Equipment
I took this picture hand held with a Zuiko 12-60mm lens at 54mm F4.0, 1/125 of a second, ISO 1000. No flash. I think I used a polarised filter as well.Inspiration
I regularly go to the Vancouver Aquarium (although haven't made it there in far too long!) and love shooting these frogs, they are always out and are a fantastic still subject to practice on. I was thrilled this guy was in the water with the reflection.Editing
I shoot in raw, as I find JPEG files to be a little over-saturated coming from my camera. For this picture, I reduced the noise and adjusted the colour true to eye.In my camera bag
My camera, an Olympus E-M5, an Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm F2.8, my Olympus Zuiko 12-60mm F2.8-4.0, an Olympus Zuiko 70-300mm F4.0-5.6 (with adaptor), a portable tripod (Dolica Tripod/Monopod), a stabiliser (a beanbag I made for anything that I can't use my tripod for - usually ground work), a remote, a polarised and UV filter for each lens, as well as a ND filter for my 12-60 lens. Plus a lens pen and multiple cleaning cloths. As I do nature photography, I also have first aid, mace, and bug spray with me when I'm anywhere in the woods.Feedback
Patience and persistence. I will shoot the same picture a hundred times to get exactly what I am looking for if I need to. With still subjects you just need to figure out your composition and lighting and shoot away. I wish I could say that this is a complicated process, but really it's almost just being in the right place at the right time. I have kept almost every shot I've taken of these frogs. I am learning and improving daily, and as this photo was taken before I even really understood how to use my camera, I'm sure there will be more conscious though put into photos on my next trip to the aquarium.
