Apparently the size of the Big Four Ice Caves has decreased due to the hot winter of the Pacific Northwest. This has been apparent on multiple mountain tops by a lack of snow on their summits. It might be a sad thing to see but the recent trip to these "caves" offered a unique chance of seeing the area in a different light. Thanks to heavy rainfall throughout the day me and a friend were able to enjoy, what seemed like, hundreds of small and large waterfalls streaming off the side of the mountain. Looking back I wouldn't have had it any other way.
