Location
I took this photo at home from his aquarium.Time
Came home from a night out at dinner.Lighting
The room was half lit and I used the flash on the camera to get the glass reflection to act as a mirror.Equipment
No tripod, cameras built in flash. Camera is a canon 600d and I believe I had my tamron macro lens attached.Inspiration
No inspiration, just pure cuteness at the right moment.Editing
Post processed in Lightroom, a bit of clean up as his cage had peat moss in it. Some color toning. In my camera bag
Because I'm more landscape and wildlife, I usually keep my 18-250 lens attached. If I know I'll be doing macro, I'll carry my tamron 90mm with me. Tripod is always in my car and extra battery with my 450ex flash mount.Feedback
Only advice I can give is just keep your eyes open and "see". If what you see is something you can look at for more then a few secs, it's worth capturing.
