Location
A wedding day moves very quickly. On this fall day, we had a few minutes with the Bride and Groom and I just loved how the Bride looked over at me! That connection is everything!Time
It was taken in the late afternoon.Lighting
Fal is always a hard time to photograph outside because the sunset is so early. Placement of the couple meant finding the last bit of light.Equipment
Nikon D4, Nikon 24-70 2.8 lensInspiration
It was windy so after seeing the veil move I placed it around the couple so it would wrap them together!Editing
I keep my color corrections pretty natural and kept a little big of a vignette on them.In my camera bag
I took so many cameras and lenses. My favorites are a wide and a longer lens. Usually, I had my Nikon D4 and D3 with a 24-70 2.8 and my 105 2.8 macro.Feedback
Sometimes when we are moving quickly we don't take a minute to truly look at the magic that is unfolding in front of the lens. Couples are so cute together so I like to step back and watch their natural movements. This was a split-second look from the Bride and I made sure to check that her eye was tack sharp.
