I found that this is the Great Indian Hornbill. I have been to our local zoo several times and this was the first that I saw this huge beautiful bird! It is very large, in a cage and goes from limb to limb and it will bite! I will update this site when I find the type of bird that this is. I do know it is absolutely huge and beautiful. This is at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa Florida which is rated #1 in US.

I would say that this is a hornbill. These birds are endemic to tropical and subtropical Africa and Asia. Possibly a Great Hornbill from India. You'll require someone else to confirm the identification. Brian
