Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the garden of a guest house in London.

Time

It was probably noon, early afternoon and it was sunny and warm and the flowers in the garden were gorgeous; I had to be outside.

Lighting

Natural lighting like this is my favorite and gives photos a very calm feel.

Equipment

I just used my Canon.

Inspiration

I was just admiring the flowers in the sun and was just compelled to capture their beauty.

Editing

I did no post-processing, aside from maybe cropping or bringing up the contrast just a tad; I don't remember if I did either.

In my camera bag

Just the camera, a telephoto lens, a battery charger, some lens cleaning fluid.

Feedback

I just let nature guide me. I follow my eye and it shows me where beauty is. I think bright sun is pretty key, I could never get this on an overcast day.
