Location
The photo was taken in "Place Bellecour" square in Lyon, France.Time
The photo was take on the afternoon of 21 December 2014. It was a nice sunny day with deep blue sky.Lighting
I just used the natural light without any modifier.Equipment
The shoot was taken using Canon EOS 550D with EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.Inspiration
Nothing in particular, I was just roaming near the square with friends when i saw this big Ferris wheel. Then I decided to take couple of shoots with different angles and perspectives.Editing
Yes, For this particular image. I used Photoshop to did selective colouring. For that first of all I increased the vibrance of image and then selected the Ferris wheel using colour selection and converted the rest of image into dark black and white. In my camera bag
Normally, I only carry my Canon EOS 550D and EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.Feedback
For these type of pictures, The main element is post-processing and here the key is just simple colour selection and making everything else desaturated.
