This photo was taken in the Dominican Republic, on a sugar plantation. I was shooting a film documentary, and I always bring with me a SLR camera, this shot was captured on film, I had a break from filming, and took my camera and went about in their living quarters, when it started raining heavily.Time

I saw there was a thunderstorm aproaching, and thought that could open some opportunities regarding the children, and I was right, I waited and sat down, for moments to play itself out..Editing
This image is originally shot on a colour reversal film, the only post processing, is converting it to black and white, it looked better that way, a little shadow highlight adjustments, thats it.In my camera bag
Today, I have a canon 5d camera, with 24-70, and 70-200 mm lenses, a small flash with softbox, a tripod, remote release, a pola filter, and a range of ND filters. Some times I have a canon eos 1d mark III camera in my gear also.Feedback
Plan your shot ahead of time. Find a position and composition that looks good, wait for the right moments, in this case when the rain started falling heavy, and a few more boys appeared, coming out of their houses, i started shooting several images. Getting wet from the rain, is just fun, when one can get this kind of image.
