It was already rather dark when this picture was captured. An exposure time of 30 seconds (@ ISO 100 and f-5.6) was necessary to get the picture well lit. At the horizon one can see three light houses. The glow in the air on the upper right side is from the small village Petten.
The Hondsbossche zeewering is the only place in the Netherlands where there are no dunes. The dunes where demolished by several major floods in the past.
