In Saint Paul, MN. I was at my girlfriend's house, she wanted me to come over and capture her garden. So I said sure and then this beautiful little creature flew up to me and landed on the top of the metal pole. I approached him. He was so friendly, he let me take photo after photo. He let me touch him, he would fly around me when I would leave him to take photos of her flowers. He wanted that camera on him. I was shooting blindly here. He did not like it at all if I was not directly looking straight at him. So I had to take the camera and point it blindly in order to get the side views. I did not even know the blue tarp was the background. Since this day, Dragonflies love me. They land on me and lets me take their photos too!!Time

You must let them accept you...I was so close I could actually touch him. I usually just sit in their territory and they are curious, they will land right on me. Slow movements also is a must. I slowly bring out the camera and start taking their photos. I have thousands of photos of these beautiful little creatures.
