Sand dune on the beach, over the argentine coast. Really nice night, a bit cloudy, and very windy, but warm. Went to that hidden place with a friend, and after a few km, we found a couple of high dunes, protecting us from the sand We needed to hurry, because the moon was rising fast from behind, as you can see on the right side of the photo. Was a really great night, talking and shooting the night sky.

Location
I took this photo in the Argentina coast. More precisely in Mar Azul, province of Buenos Aires.Time
Near midnight,.Lighting
The light of the stars, and the two bright spots from behind are the Village on the left side, and the moon rising on the right side. The sand get the light from long exposure. I tried to illuminate artificially the sand dune, but it looked ugly. This is more natural and beautiful in my opinion. the brightest stars seem bigger, the small cloud almost transparent layer, acts as a giant magnifying glass. I think that's the explanation ...Equipment
Canon 6d, and 14mm samayang. Tripod of course, and remote shooter.Inspiration
The stars, the night, the universe... I can spend hours and hours just lying back looking at the stars. And Orion is my favorite constellation.Editing
Yes. I increased exposure on the dune. Noise reduction in Entire photo, white balance and contrast. The colors, the magnification of the brightest stars, and vignetting of the shot, is all natural. I do not know how to use editing programs beyond the basics, so my photos do not really have much production. In my camera bag
All I can load, but my back did not appreciate it, but I can not rule anything out. Even solar filters... at night. Not kidding o.OFeedback
Traveling much. Look spaces where there are no nearby towns, take a map and see where fewer cities, go there. Civilization is hiding us the heaven, we're losing it very quickly. In my town we only see 20 stars on a clear night, it is very sad.
