Behind The Lens

Location

This is an image of Lilly's in a pond. I had clicked this image in Puruliya (West Bengal / India). I had visited an Ashram and close by there was this big pond. It was an amazing sight to see the pond filled with Lilly's .

Time

I clicked this image early in the winter morning.

Lighting

It was early in the winter morning and the sun rays were warm. The light was bright but not intensely luminous.

Equipment

I shot this image using Nikon D5300 with Tamron 150-600mm 5.6 with out a tripod.

Inspiration

It was early in the winter morning and I was shooting birds that flocked to the pond, where I shot this image. The pond was filled with Lilly's and it looked like a bed of flower. I wanted to capture this in the frame were the subject slowly blurred with increase in depth of the image.

Editing

I usually post process my images. I check for the highlights, black and white balance and the shadow component.

camera body, 150-600mm zoom lens, 50mm prime lens, 18-35mm lens
