This photo was actually taken while standing on the log in the water on the snow covered end .... The lake is Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs Colorado... Later on in the day I walked a lot further out in the log with my goPro camera, and the snow and ice snapped off both sides of the log and I nearly went in the lake!
