In mountain areas of India the road building process is still pretty primitive. Most of the work is done using hands, hammers and shovels without specialised equipment or heavy machines. People work there in extreme conditions. Many of them are tibetan refugees or Indians from poor southern regions of India.

Nice photo. Amazing blue tone in the smog. Very interesting "one third rule" framework with the two persons one back to other, creating a 3D perspective. The contrast of the persons with the smog gives deep and their faces a little hidden draws our imagination and emotion. Congrats!
