This picture was taken in the living room of my house.Time
I took this pictures sometime in the afternoon during spring of last year.Lighting
It was kind of a fluke that this picture turned out this good. It was just regular lighting from the outside, and the blinds weren't even totally open.Equipment
I just used a Nikon D5000, making sure the flash was off because otherwise the piano keys looked odd.Inspiration
I've always loved music and been inspired by people who are able to make beautiful music (as I am not very good at playing instruments.) I felt that capturing the beauty of the piano would show the beautiful music it creates.Editing
No, this photo is the original. In my camera bag
I always have either a Nikon D5000 or a Nikon D5300, and at least one lense other than the one on the camera, possible two. One shorter, only to 55mm, and a longer one, going to around 500mm. The lense on the camera normally (as of lately) is from 30mm to 800mm, so I use it because it almost the two other lenses in one. I also have another memory card, the lense hood for the smaller lenses, and some other random cables for hooking the camera directly to computers and things.Feedback
Honestly, this was just a "I am going to see what happens when I put my camera here and take a picture!" Kind of thing. I'd say, play with the focus, maybe you will like a certain small detail in focus. Also, just take random pictures, even if you aren't sure they will turn out well.
