It was almost noon on a sunny day. Subject tried to cover as sun was shining right into his eyes. Part of his face was in the deep shadow. Originally, image was in color but, I was not happy with the blue/pinkish shadows so I converted it to black and white.Equipment
For this shot, I used Nikon D7000 with Sigma lens 17-50 F/2.8 at 50 mm My exposure was F/8.0 and 1/90 sec. ISO 100 Raw file Now getting older I switched to Sony ILCE-6000 With Zeiss lens 16-70mm and Tamron 70-300mmInspiration
Not too many street musicians play flute which is a classic instrumentEditing
Yes, I am using Adobe Photoshop CS6, On One software. Every single image in my gallery is post processed. This is my digital lab so I correct colors, density, contrast, sharpness and then resize. Post processing takes lot more time then shooting. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000 camera with battery holder, Sigma lenses 17-50 f/2.8 70-200 f/2,8 and standard Nikon lens 50mm 1,8 on top of this filters, cleaning accessories for lens, sensor , I am not carry strobe with me because my bag is already too heavy for meFeedback
Keep shooting, have your camera always ready, and keep your eyes open.
