Location
In Germany, near StuttgartTime
In the morning, I would go for short bicycle rides and walks through the farmland between small villages. In Germany, there are many small rivers and creeks, and they have numerous hiking and cycling paths that run through the forests and farmlands.Lighting
The lighting is a bit tricky due to the strong light coming through the tree line. Also the water level wasn't high, but was difficult walking on the slipper rocks.Equipment
For the long exposure I had a tripod, and used a Nikon D90 or D7000. At that time I also used a nd filter to slow the motionInspiration
I always enjoy the outdoors, and nature. I was between jobs at the time, and would take daily walks.Editing
Most of the post-processing that I do is a little cropping, and using a black and white preset. In my camera bag
Usually, now I have a tripod with me in the car, and in my bag I keep a flash, D700 with a 50mm f1.8 lens, 24mm f2.8, 85mm 1.8 then recently picked up an older 28-80 f2.8 macro lens. As well as a nd8 and nd400 filter for the longer exposures on bright days.Feedback
The area that we lived near Stuttgart has many forests, and rolling hills which make some great landscapes. I enjoy the quiet paths that run through the forests and farmland which is great for hiking or cycling with your camera
