I participated in a Fashion Photography workshop in Manhattan at New York's classic area the - Meat Packing District I tookTime
I took this photo in the Fall of 2014 at 4 pm during the early evening soft light of September. Out of the many shots I took this photo of the model frozen in the air is my favorite. The reason I took the street view is to capture the feel of old classic Manhattan with its cobbled lane.Lighting
The shot in the early evening in September that gave me the opportunity throw soft light on the modelEquipment
I used a DSLR camera Canon 60 D with Lens - Canon Lens EF-S18-135 mm IS. I also used a UV filterInspiration
I was inspired to take this dramatic shot as it was a unique opportunity to capture a dynamic pose of a fashion model frozen in the air, since most modeling shots are either portraits or walking on the ramp.Editing
The only post processing I did was to add some saturation and contrastIn my camera bag
I now carry a DSLR full frame Canon 6D. The Lenses I carry are Canon EF 24-105 mm, 50 mm prime, zoom lens 70 - 300 mm, Macro 100 mm & Sigma 150 - 600 mm. I also carry a Monopod, tripod as well lens filters and Speedlite FlashFeedback
My advice for others is to look for some unique opportunity in capturing street scenes.
