Nice job on capturing these post sunset layers. I get same in desert

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken 90km north of Port Hedland, Western Australia in the desert
Time
That was between 4-5am at sunrise and moonset, worst time to take photos as there is no wind at all, the humidity is very high and the hundred flies are active and annoying.
Lighting
This was a bit of a challenge to capture the details of the moon as well as the color of the landscape.
Equipment
Canon 7d with Canon 17-55mm and a tripod
Inspiration
I wanted to take and moon shot when it sets with a view from the bush, like a predator animal.
Editing
Just brought up the colors a bit and contrast
In my camera bag
Canon 7D Canon 17-55mm Canon 100mm macro Canon 100-400mm Tokina 11-16mm Tripod Ikelite housing for underwater photo
Feedback
Prepare the trip in advance such as time for moonset and sunrise, what will be the best location (TPE app is the best) and especially don't forget sunscreen, mosquito repellent, flies net for your face and water;)
