If my memory is good, it was in the afternoon around 2-3pm.Lighting
This is a tricky shot as the light inside the gorges is not the same on both side. The top of the gorge is more than 100m. On this shot the lightning is different on both side of the gorge as I choose to show the colors of the rocks too.Equipment
I used a Canon 7D with a Tamron 11-16mm, tripod, remote and a ND filterInspiration
I remembered the view of a children's slide when you are on the top, it feels the same feeling except 10 times bigger and dangerous too if you slip.Editing

I carry a Canon 7D + battery grip. 3 lenses (Tamron 11-16mm, Canon 17-55mm and a Canon macro 100mm). Flash Canon speedlite 580EX II. Remote. 2 X filters (polarizer & ND), Tripod, cleaning stuffs, small portable fan for fog, bushman (mosquito repellent), and most important in WA a fly net hat!Feedback
Safety first!! Be very careful as the rocks are slippery. The power of the water depending on the season can shake your tripod a bit if one of the pod is in the water. If the lights is not as good as you want, shoot in hdr.
