Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a trip to Iguazu Falls, Argentina. It was taken from the bottom of the falls not open to the general public unless you are going to the speedboat ride, which was super exciting.

Time

This was morning around 10-11 a.m.

Lighting

The day was bright and clear, great clouds to give some definition

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 30D, no flash, ISO 400, 1/1000 at 5.6.

Inspiration

I saw this and thought it was one of the most amazing places I have ever been. I also realized how fortunate I am and possibly let people see what exists in other parts of the world.

Editing

I reduced the Luminescence to bring out the clouds and lightened to rocks to bring out the greenery.

In my camera bag

Currently I carry c Canon 5D III, Canon 24-70mm II,2.8. Circular Polarizing filter.

Feedback

Under these particular circumstances I was traveling as high as possible moving around that terrain and it was very damp. An effort to keep everything dry. It was take the shot and keep moving, other people behind me so did not want to cause delays.
