Sometimes just going for a walk with your camera without worrying too much what will find out can be very rewarding in its own way. This time I went trough a public garden, the day was very bright but light patterns were created due to the trees around. So I passed trough this flower that unfortunately I don't know the name in English but in my language the gardener called it "S.Pedro" a name of a saint, now I know it's not her real name but what caught my eyes was not her different name but the light she had in a back creating a mystical ambient all around her. I could use a bigger aperture to make her sharp all around, but why not transmit that mystical ambience to it, so I set my Nikon D7000 with a 50mm 1.8 D in the aperture of F 2.5 with a speed of 1-80 for some stabilization. The result was as expected, shallow depth of field giving a somewhat rainbow effect on the background.
