Droplet of nature
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at my home garden. We have a big vase of lotus plant and everytime it rains the water droplet on the leaf is just so beautiful.

Time

It was in the morning, roughly about 10am in the morning. It was taken right after the rain stopped.

Lighting

I just used the sun as my lighting and it turned out pretty well. Did not use any other lighting effects for this shot. The nature does wonders by itself.

Equipment

This was shot with my first ever camera Sony CyberShot DSC W180. No other equipment used while taking this shot. Aperture f/3.1 ISO 500 Shutter 1/40

Inspiration

Nature is the greatest inspiration of all time for me to get into photography. I enjoyed capturing beautiful moments and the blissfulness of the nature. The sun, the lotus leaf and the tiny little droplet after rain put together has given me such a beautiful shot.

Editing

I did not. The photo is as it is. No editing was done.

In my camera bag

As I'm still an amateur and I am saving money right now to buy a new DSLR and also lenses. Right now I have Nikon D3300 with 18-55mm lens and I try to capture the best I can with 'em.

Feedback

Capture what you see and feel that is beautiful at that particular moment, the shot will definitely be worth it. Look at your surroundings and you will find the most appealing thing to be captured. Find beauty in everything you see.
