This is an outstanding shot! I would find it hard to believe such a shot if I had not been to Antelope Canyon. We did not see this much color in January.

Beautiful shot. :) You're even hiding a moon in there! If you don't mind my asking, do you know what sort of conditions give this kind of coloration? I'm visiting Bryce next week and we're hiking down into the canyons. Wondering if any particular time or weather is ideal. This looks like a sunny day?

Absolutely stunning. AND a new perspective. Bravo! The sinewy sky defines the canyon. Just perfect. Cannot say enough.

If you ever notice, images of these slot canyons rarely shows the sky. This is due to the inevitable bright white exposure wash that is hard to control.Equipment
Sony A850, Sony 24-105mm, Remote Shutter Release, Benro TripodInspiration
Slot canyons like these were one of my top choices and inspirations for creating images. Because the light plays on the sandstone in ways that change wildly from hour to hour, it is easy to believe why the Navajo regarded these unusual natural areas to have great spiritual significance.Editing
This image project fuses three frames of different exposures and two different time slices to get the final hand blended still time lapse photograph. No computer HDR used.In my camera bag

Don't be afraid to shoot in low light and other situations were lighting might not be... easy. Never come back with unused room on the memory cards!
