Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken along the Atlantic Road in Norway. I was living in Molde at the time which is not too far from here.

Time

Late afternoon.

Lighting

I didn't use any additional lighting ... this is au naturale

Equipment

Shot hand-held with a Fujifilm x100s

Inspiration

This location is very famous amongst photographers... Mostly the photos feature a profile of the bridge. I wanted to capture the action of driving the bridge. Coming up over the bridge to this incredible stretch of road in front of you is mind blowing!

Editing

yes, a few touch-ups here and there along with increasing the contrast, bringing out the yellow's and greens and lighting up the road a little.

In my camera bag

At this stage, not much at all. Just the x100s and a shutter release cable.

Feedback

This was taken 'on-the-fly', I had the camera out and ready to shoot but it wasn't until we came up over the hump in the bridge that the magic was right there in front of me! Always nice to have someone else driving!! Keep it steady and look for the leading lines :)
