This is one of my favourite shots. It was a pleasant morning around 5 am when I woke up to get a glance of the beach. I couldn't resist taking a glimpse of this beautiful scenery. As I did not carry my tripod with me, I steadied the camera on my own. It was one of the best mornings I remember, walking in the sands and watching the fishermen sail into the sea for their living. This photograph was taken on October 2013 at 7:00 AM.Lighting

This was shot on a Nikon D3200, with an 18-105mm f/3.5 lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration

Usually landscape photography requires a lot of processing. In this particular case, I had to develop the raw 2 times (one for the boat and another for the sky) to correct the white balance (since the auto option in the camera usually kills the colour of the sunset/sunrise). Then I proceeded to merge the 2 raws using photomatrix tool.In my camera bag
The first thing I always pick my camera Nikon d3200 with me along with Nikkor 18-105mm f3.5-6.5, nikkor 50mm f1.8 prime, one extra battery and poly bag for rainy weather. Depends on location I carry tripod.Feedback
To click something similar take multiple shots of an object as sun is in background we can't carry flashes or reflector all the time, sometime you have to be only with your camera.
