Location
This is Lake Louise, in Canada. I was spending the night at the Chateau. the next morning when I woke up and open up the curtains, this was my view. This picture is taken behind a great big window.Time

Because I was indoors and behind a window, I had to turn off all room lights so that nothing would reflect off the windows. I also closed the curtains and stood between the curtains and window.Equipment

The Rockies on the Canadian side tend to have a weather of their own so always dress warm, even in summer nights. It's better to take off than to wish you had a warm jacket. Be very aware of your surroundings as there are dangerous wildlife such as bears. Needless to say that sun rise and sun set are spectacular but also the northern light and meteorite showers are also awesome to watch and photograph in this area.
