Behind The Lens

Location
It is about 300 meters from my house. A place where I often walk. A little town called Bispgården in the middle of Sweden
Time
In the middle of december and in the middle of the day I shot this photo.
Lighting
Against the sun with out flares I photo often with something in between so that in this case the tree gets a sorts of a aura with the back light.
Equipment
nikon 18-55 mm with a nikon d7100 freehand
Inspiration
It just had snowed and the sun light was beautiful and not that strong. I had to go out and find a good spot to capture this
Editing
Yes I did processing this. I love this paint like processing. It is a multitply proces in photoshop. make a extra layer, make this one a little blurry and make it a multiply layer. and often the sharp photo must be made lighter. Orton effect it is called.
In my camera bag
battery,remote,cleaning gear,tripod, always.
Feedback
Maybe 98 procent of all shots I take are taken not far from my house, like this one. Shooting from places I know and close to me makes it easier to quickly adapt instead of searching for something. If I found a beautiful spot I can make so many different beautiful photos from different moments througout the year. like this winter scene
