I took this only a few months after I bought my T3i, back in 2011. I had just gotten a 50mm f.1.8 lens and was learning my camera better.
This came from a bracket of 3 exposures. I didn't want an HDR look to it so I merged them into a 32bit tiff then re-processed in Adobe Camera Raw to manage the highlights and shadows better. I used SilverFx Pro II for the black and white then added a slight Orton Effect over that for the final look.
I'm pleased with how the lines, the clouds and the direction arrow all point the same area of the frame.
