This photo was taken outdoor on the beautiful beach. I am not professional photographer and every shot is pretty much new lesson for my. And this is a very good exam for this statement because this shot was not exactly perfect. ( the pose was good the light too , but the background was terrible and I decided to edit with Photoshop this image ( to correct the background )Time
The intent was to use the sun light (only natural light for this shot) .This is way this picture is taken around 12:00 PM It was a beautiful sunny day.Lighting
On the open space like a beach the light is amazing on sunny days, but you need to watch closely to your reflection and shadow and also her shadow. You cannot manipulate the direction of the light. The photographer need to find the position around the model that the light is perfect for what he intend to do. I love shooting subjects in this light and I know that will be better if I have a reflected light onto her, but I like to use imperfect lighting, it makes the image feel less staged and more natural.Equipment
The equipment which I used was just my camera Sony Alpha NEX F3- Auto focus 18-55 lens no tripod or additional light or reflectors.Inspiration
What inspire me to take that photo? – My intent was to catch the beauty of the model on the beautiful background.Editing
This was my next lesson (Most important part of post-processing is having an image that will take it on well). I am tried to manipulate this picture to look like a paint. After I finished it I decided to add the object ( paint brush ) - just too look more realistic. The picture is not perfect, but I am glad that the viewers like it.In my camera bag
Sony Alpha NEX F3- tripod and few different lenses ( 18-55 standard just for" everyday" photos, 28 mm F 2.8 Macro Focus Lens Minolta and Minolta MD ProSpec 70-210mm Zoom Lens )Feedback
Most important for the photographers using only the natural light is to utilizing light and shoot constantly.
