Thank you and please forgive me for my very delayed gratitude! I don't go through this site very often.

Location
This photo was taken in a place in Italy called 'le aquevive' in a town called Taranta Peligna on the river called 'Aventino'. It is a great river for fly-fishing and just to admire when the seasons change.Time
It was late in the evening around 7:30 PM and so was getting pretty dark.Lighting
There wasn't much light left in the day so I had to go with a long exposure shot.Equipment
This photo was shot using a Nikon D7100 with the kit lens from my previous D40, which is a Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G. Along with a Manfrotto tripod and nothing else.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo because it was early fall and I was experimenting with long exposure shots. Plus, the fact that I love the river and surrounding nature of trees and mountains.Editing
Yes, I did some highlighting in the riverbank and shading on the rock in the foreground plus some general manipulation of the contrast and exposure for more highlights and some colour manipulation. In my camera bag
I carry a small canvas Lowepro bag with my Nikon D7100 in it along with the kit 18-55mm lens. Also, I carry a Canon S120 point and shoot when I want to take HDR photos quickly. Occasionally, I'll also pack one of my other lenses like the Nikkor 35mm f1.8G or my 55-200mm f4-5.6G lens.Feedback
Just to have some patience and have fun experimenting with different exposures and f-stops. Oh and use the timer button on your camera! It helps with avoiding vibrations from pushing the shutter release when taking a photo. One might think this obvious but there has been many a time when I pushed the shutter release button only to realise that I hadn't set the shutter release to timer.
