The photo was taken in Port Elizabeth, South Africa at a World Cup Qualifier Showjumping event. I always wanted to photograph horses and I thought this would be a good opportunity.Time
We were at the event at round about 10.00 AM. After watching and photographing some jumping I decided to go for a walk around the terrain and I ended up at the stables where this shot was taken on 14 November 2014 at 11.22 AM.Lighting
Not much as I'm not a very technical photographer and I normally leave it up to the camera to do it's thing. It was slightly overcast at some times but most of the time the sun was shining.Equipment
This was taken with my Fujifilm Finepix S8400w. Most of the times it's only me and my camera.Inspiration
Like I said I always wanted to capture horses. Horses to me are in another world and I am always fascinated by them, they seem to be very proud and sort of majestic animals. I live in the cats and dogs world.Editing
It's been a long time ago and I can't remember exactly. I do not have any post-processing programmes except for what is available on Google Photo Gallery. On most of my photos I will do a bit of adjustment on exposure, saturation and sharpness, seldom more than 20%.In my camera bag
Bag? The only bag I have is the bag for my camera, currently a Nikon P530 Bridge camera. I might decide to take my tripod when we are going on holiday. Remember I'm a human not a donkey:)Feedback
I have learnt that the opportunity for a good capture is everywhere whether it's in your garden, down the street or maybe in the next town. I don't have the means to travel to great photographic destinations so do the best with what you have available.
