This was a surprise upload that gave me mixed emotions when I finished uploading.. I didn't see the missing detail of this bird during shooting.. The good thing was that it was unnoticeable and part of the flock holding its own.
UPDATE: Gosh do I feel bad..I think the foot is behind the heap of sand. Just noticed. I feel better for the bird. When I first saw this photo it actually made me sick to my stomach.
