Oh gosh, it took us hours to navigate through the woods to find this nice pergola! Not to mention it had rained earlier that day, but that always makes for great overcast lighting!Lighting
Beautiful overcast lighting! I always love when these girls respond to a model call because they are willing to trek through anything to get the perfect picture. We had a few spots of sun to warn us up in the cold weather but the light coming through the clouds make their skin look fabulous.Equipment
You can always find me with an 85mm 1.4 on my D90. I love shooting at 1.4 and tend to stay there, don't be afraid to break the rules!Inspiration
I was looking for a way to portray connection and when these girls are together there is nothing but smiles and laughter. It came so nature for them that I would definitely consider this candid.Editing
I always shoot in RAW, but this came before I understood what the difference was between RAW and JPEG, so this is a JPEG image from my early times. It's always a learning experience and this was when I was learning how to retouch and properly add vignettes, and resulted in this image.In my camera bag
I am attached to my 85mm 1.4. I never take it off my D90. And I was born and raised a Nikon lover. I carry a light bag but if there is one thing I always have its that 85mm.Feedback
