A Heron watching the waters of the River Llugwy at Betws y Coed, North Wales. I stood on a rock for one and a quarter hours watching this heron, without moving. The heron stood still for the majority of that time moving to another stance only once. We both wanted the same thing, a fish. We got our wish. One lunge and success, one finger moved and I got the photo.
