Location
This photo was taken at the Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, Illinois in the month of October.Time
It was taken around 1:00 pm the day before my birthday. It was partly cloudy and I needed to wait until there was total sun.Lighting
As I mentioned the day was partly cloudy and I waited until the sun was totally out.Equipment
Camera was a Nikon 3200 with a 18mm to 55mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I love the Fall colors and the gardens are truly beautifull in both the Fall and the Spring. I thought the blending of the natural colors, stone walkway and wooden Japanese bridge made a beautiful scene.Editing
I did a little tweaking of the contrast, exposure and clarity. Then, I used one of my photo apps called Picturesque to create the image as you see it in this photo. In my camera bag
I don't carry a bag but do have an additional telephoto zoom lens of 55mm to 200mm.Feedback
I guess the first thing is having something really beautiful to photograph. For me, color is a big draw and I enjoy capturing the natural colors during the various seasons. I also like scenes with a definite sense of depth and balance. If you find it beautiful and pleasing to your eye. capture and share it. We need more beauty in this world.
