I have never had the patience - either in dealing with a 1-year-old or in making a composite such as this. Fantastic work.

As soon as I saw this I started laughing. The hopeless on the mothers face is probably relatable to,anyone who has looked after adorable little ones. Just a brilliant composition, really well thought about and executed.

Location
This was taken in my daughter's kitchen.Time
It was taken in the morning when baby was happy and well rested.Lighting
Not really. Turned on kitchen lights plus she has a "Light Tube" in the ceiling which brings in lots of natural light. I also used my Yongnuo Speedlite YN560.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS Rebel T1i on a tripod with a Yongnuo Speedlite YN560 . My lens was a Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5.Inspiration
My inspiration came from a photo I had seen before. My grandson loved being in the kitchen especially standing on the counters and every place he wasn't normally allowed. I realized my daughters kitchen would be perfect. So, I ask her to help me create this and she was most willing. I put my camera on a tripod and took my first shot of just the kitchen with nobody in it. Then my daughter moved the baby from place to place (which he loved) and stepped back for a second for me to take the pic. . It went fairly quick and easy. The 2nd to the last shot was the baby on the floor with the mess of the flour. The very last shot was of my daughter standing there looking frustrated. We had a lot of fun making this happen.Editing
Yes, I had to compile my images in photoshop starting with my first image of the kitchen then I added the pics one at a time and erased my daughter from each one until the last one of her standing. I was laughing almost the whole time I created it.In my camera bag
I have a new camera since this pic was taken. I upgraded to the Canon T3i. I use my Sigma 17-70 mm F2.8-4.5 as my main lens. I also use a Canon Zoom EF-S 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 IS. My latest acquisition is a Sigma 85 mm F1.4 which i am having a lot of fun with lately. My flash is a Yongnuo Speedlite YN560. I have a Proline TripodFeedback
Just be sure to use a tripod if you want the images to line up in photoshop.
