This is a surreal image, reminiscent of Jerry Uelsmann's work. Are you familiar with this famous photographer? Check out his portfolio on the Internet.

Thank you, I am not familiar with his work but will look his work up. I am a big Ansel Adams fan myself.

Location
I took this photo while playing in the front yard with my son. I was taking some photos of the surrounding scenery when my son asked me to blow bubbles. While blowing them this one landed on the grass and stayed around. I set my GE X500 to macro and got on my knees to capture the photo you see today.Time
I took this photo around 2 pm.Lighting
There is nothing really special about the lighting because I didn't have trees in my front yard where this was taken at the time. I did however have some cloud cover to dull out some of the sun.Equipment
GE X500 with a fixed lens set to macro.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo because I love nature and I really get excited about shooting photos that are there one second and gone the next. It's like a photographic once in a lifetime of sorts.Editing
The only post processing done on this photo was a little brightness and contrast adjustment. In my camera bag
I normally have my GE X500, a small Sanyo point and shot, and my Minolta 35mm film camera for that old school practice session.Feedback
My suggestions for anyone trying to take a photo like this is have fun, be quick to switch your camera and have a steady hand. Some photos just come to you when your not taking yourself so serious and you have a little fun. My biggest pet peave is keeping the camera lens clean after each use and at various times during taking photos. A clean lens makes happy photos.
