Location
This photo was taken at the Chihuly Garden Exhibit in Seattle Center in Seattle, WATime
Part of the glass exhibit was indoors and part was outside. This particular photo was taken in the ceiling exhibit known as the "bridge".Lighting
The Chihuly glass pieces were placed on clear glass sheets and back-lit in several areas.Equipment
I used a Canon G9; aperture f 2.8; ISO 200; exposure 1/50. It was hand held with no flash.Inspiration
I loved the movement of the glass and the colors. I have always been drawn to yellow and red and I liked just the hint of blue on the edge.Editing
I did not do any post processing. I seem to be an anomaly as I have not taken the time to learn Photoshop or any other similar program. In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon D3200 with a Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8; Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4-5.6 and Tamron 70-300 F/4-5.6 lenses.Feedback
Take your time to set up your shot. Look through your view finder until you find the right combination of color and lighting. Experiment with different angles and focal points.
