A cave of Cala Luna, moon bay, after sunset. Sardinia. The beach of Cala Luna, positioned within the wide Golfo di Orosei, is made up of coarse, light-coloured sand mixed with stones. Its waters are transparent and of a changing blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflected on the seabed: a further spray of colour is offered by the green of the vegetation that hems the beach. Held tight as in an embrace from the steep walls of rock, are deep caves which open onto the beach and offer shelter from the summer heat.

Strong definition in the blue tones are juxtaposed with the grays/browns of the cave. Very surreal in feeling almost like being on another planet. Kudos!

Behind The Lens

Location
In Cala luna beach, Sardinia east coast.
Time
It was about 19 pm on february 2014
Lighting
I didn't used any light, I prefer to shoot with the natural light, it was blue hour.
Equipment
Sony a7 with samyang 14 2.8, on tripod.
Inspiration
I knew this place so I wanted to shoot the panoramic of this cave and it's a perfect for the composition.
Editing
I stitched the shots with a panoramic software, then I post processed with lightroom and photoshop.
In my camera bag
Sony a7 Sony a7II samyang 14 Sony 16-35 Sony 70-200 Sony 55 1.8 Sony 28-70
Feedback
Choose a good point for the composition, and take many shots, a lot, all of them at the same exposure. It's important the overlap you choose for every shot, usually from 40 to 70%.
