I took this photo on my back patio. These are baby bell peppers, I cook with them a lot. One day I was thinking what to photograph and the baby bells came to mind.Time
It was in the afternoon, with the sun blazing.Lighting
I used three flash strobes. One on the left, one on the right and one from below. It took a little while to get all the flash just right with power settings, but the final photograph should tell you that that flashes was pretty close.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7000, with a 85mm Sigma f1.8 lens, set @ f16, ISO100, and 1/250 shutter speed. with the Nikon on a tripod.I used a small 10 gallon fish tank with a black table cloth for the background. I also used a few sun shades to block sun glare.Inspiration
Using the baby bells in the kitchen was a no brainier, but when it came to the baby bells it took awhile think about the set up, then about 30 drops into the fish tank to finally getting the one i wanted.Editing
I used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. With the usual settings. In my camera bag
Lots of stuff the normal photographer has... and more lolFeedback
Take your time setting up, thinking about the shot.
