Behind The Lens

Equipment

Canon A530 compact in macro mode.

Feedback

Butterfly farms are excellent if you are looking for a wide range of butterfly varieties. Furthermore, they are restricted as to how far they can fly and therefore so much easier to photograph than in the wild. Choose a quieter period when there is not as much competition for their attention. Use a macro setting or dedicated macro lens and get close in to your subject. Be creative with your shooting angle. Have fun!
